A cool climate Cabernet from 30 year old vines in the Devil's Ridge Vineyard on the West Sonoma Coast, NW of Fort Ross, 7 miles from the Pacific. 12.5% ABV. Picked at 22 Brix. Made in an old school style like the cabs of the 40's to 70's. A true expression of Cabernet Sauvignon in the classical sense. Lean and pure. Shockingly delicious now, but will reveal greater complexity with 10+ years of maturity. Made by Carroll Kemp, formerly of Red Car Winery.
